We can help plan services for many different cultures and faiths, as well as those with no religious beliefs.
The funeral home has free parking if you are arriving by car. We are 10 minute walk from Stockport Train Station. Our closest bus stop is Castle Street Bus Stop serving Cheadle Hulme, Hazel Grove, Reddish and Romiley.
There is a small step up into the front door of the branch for those arriving in a wheelchair. We do not have a disabled toilet. We are happy to arrange a home visit if you prefer.
We have a private chapel of rest to enable families to spend time with their loved ones. We can convert this into a service venue to hold a service.
One of our unique features is that we are one of the only few purpose-built funeral homes in the northwest – built in 1961, we even had a fuel pump on site for our fleet, up until 20 years ago.
Our Edgeley funeral home is open from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. Funeral home opening times may vary over bank holidays, but we are always available on the telephone 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
